There are enough places on this website where we tell you how good the food is! If you arent convinced about our claims then the following reviews of our food may sway you.
The dishes are magnificent, and all served by wonderfully expert and helpful staff.
Apparently grandma's in the back cooking all the stuff and there's even a deli counter
if you fancy taking some home.

An unusual canteen-style setting for easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Cardiff, and very good value indeed.

The Vegetarian Food Studio has been recommended by Simonseeks.com, a website where a community of travellers, journalists and celebrities can share their reviews and tips on the best places to stay, eat and visit, ranging from restaurants in Paris to London hotels.
Sharon Harris, who is a travel enthusiast, has written a guide for Simonseeks.com called ‘Flat Holm: the Bristol Channel island’. In her guide, Sharon recommends The Vegetarian Food Studio as one of the best places to eat at in Cardiff. She describes it as delivering “a vast array of tasty and inspiring dishes from all over Asia. The menu is created using purely vegetarian and vegan produce bringing something lacking for vegetarians on normal restaurant menus - an astonishing array of flavourful, spicy choices all at wallet-pleasing prices.”
"The Vegetarian Food Studio is an utter gem with the range, price and quality of food it prepares. Take your parents, take your friends and spread the word; if you thought Madhav's on Cathedral Road was great, you're going to love this."

To be honest, I shouldn't be really recommending this place as the more people who know about it then the harder it’ll be to get a table.

I always love coming to Cardiff as it means I can eat at VFS! I think they may have extended their menu since I last visited - this is vegan heavan! Loads of choice. Wonderful flavours.

This place is amazing. I couldn't believe the excellent food and amazing choice for vegans and veggies alike. You could eat out here for a month and not have the same dish twice. I loved the authenticity of the homemade chutneys and pickles and interesting menu selections. Totally unique culinary experience.

I’m amazed that there aren’t any gushing reviews of this place already, as it’s won plaudits in other publications. It’s quite unlike any other Indian restaurant in Cardiff.
